Our Business
We buy and sell the Voice Cards/Telephony Cards that were and are still produced by Natural MicroSystems.
From the original Watson cards that date back to 1984, up through current production cards with the latest technology. Although many
models are out of production, we stock them and we love them!
Why? Because these cards and the software written for them work!
Gently used voice cards like these don't wear out and they often provide features and capabilities that you cannot
find in any "new" technology. They were great technology when they were new and they are still great technology today.
These cards are commonly used for:
- Computer based voice mail systems
- Audio Text Bulletin Boards
- Efficient dial and deliver messaging systems
- Predictive Dialers
- IVR Systems
- VoIP Systems
- Variations and combinations of the above
Don't want to spend thousands or ten's of thousands of dollars for "new" technology? These cards still deliver!

Watson II - An Oldie, but a Goodie!
The Watson Voice card dates back to 1984 and was produced until the spring of 1997. Although it is no longer in production, tested and fully operational cards are still available. (while supplies last).
If you know what this card is and how to use it, call us and we can supply your needs.
We can also supply the software for the later model cards that use the VIS software and also function as either 1200 or 2400 baud modems. (That was a big selling point in the 80's!)
We also have a very limited number of copies of the original manuals for these cards.
VBX Series (Watson III) - The Watson II Replacement
The VBX Series cards date back to 1989 and were produced until the fall of 2000.
There are several models in this series:
- VBX 100 - Supports a single standard phone
VBX 200 - Supports two standard phone lines
VBX 400 - Supports four standard phone lines
VBX 400 DID - Supports four DID (Direct Inward Dial) Trunks
Unlike the original Watson II, the manufacturer did not sell any finished software for these cards other than DOS and OS/2 drivers.
The original customers for these cards typically wrote a software package that would support the CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) usages
for which these cards were designed. Then they sold that package along with the cards.
If you have the software that supports one of these cards and need more cards, call us! We usually have most of the variations in stock.
The VBX-100 (Watson III) Card
The VBX 200 has the same size and general appearance as the 400.
However, from left to right, the center section of the card is "de-populated".
AG Series - The VBX Series Replacement
The AG Series cards date back to 1994 and many models are still currently produced. The AG series cards
are all ISA Buss cards. NMS supplied either AG Access or CT access as the supporting development environment and drivers.
The most common models in this series are:
- AG 8 - Supports 8 standard phone lines, with the DID hybrids installed, up to 8 DID
trunks. Some cards were manufactured with fewer than 8 hybrids installed and sometimes with
a mix of loop sart and DID hybrids. The hybrids are the "blue daughter cards found on the left end of the AG 8.
- ATI 24 & T Connect - Supports 24 standard phone lines, but does not perform any digital processing. The cards are
always used with resource cards like the AG 24's, 48's or 60's. The signals are passed to
the resource card via the MVIP buss connectors on the top edge of the cards. The ATI series may also have less than 24 line interface hybrids.
The ATI cards are most commonly used in older OS/2 systems and the T Connects are more commonly found in NT systems.
- ATS 24 & S Connect - Supports 24 station lines, but does not perform any digital processing. The cards are
always used with resource cards like the AG 24's, 48's or 60's. The signals are passed to
the resource card via the MVIP buss connectors on the top edge of the cards. The ATS cards are most commonly used in older OS/2 systems and the S Connects are more commonly found in NT systems.
- AG 24, 48 and 60 - A DSP resource card that supports signal processing for up to the number ports indicated in the model number.
- AG T1 - Supports a single T1 span, typically configured as 24 channels of voice.
The manufacturer did not sell any finished software for these cards other than AG and CT Access which includes the drivers for OS/2, NT and LINUX and several flavors of UNIX.
The original customers for these cards typically wrote a software package that would support the CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) usages
for which these cards were designed. Then they sold that package along with the cards.
If you have the software that supports one of these cards and need more cards, call us! We usually have most of the variations in stock.
